Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson, the daughter of a musician born in Mexico was born to the music-loving parents of her family. She spent most of her early years listening to music from the past Boleros from the past, ranchero traditional or romantic music and classic classical music. Ana is a fan of tangos, as well as the dramatic and opera performances. Ana began learning to sing and play music from an early age, along with her mother. She was given more formal training in singing when she was 16 years old under the famous Mexican Tenor Flavio BECARRA. Music lessons continued throughout the School of Music of Guadalajara University. In the following years, she was a student at an institution called the School of Sacred Music of Toluca. When she was a student, as well as a young professional within Mexico City and Guadalajara she performed with various chamber groups and choruses. After moving from Mexico to the United States around 2000, she sang in the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. She sings with Ensemble XXI Redlands, and performs Latin American traditional music solo for many private functions. Her love and passion for music, art, and performing keeps her involved in many local projects as a teacher and performer. Ana is also a former member of the Community Chorus of Redlands. The Inland Master Chorale. and the Performance Loft. Ana enjoys singing traditional Latin American songs and hopes to inspire other people to follow in her footsteps.
